Massive Procession in Honor of the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal in the Banking District

With deep devotion and an atmosphere of community joy, the parish of the Banking District held the procession and subsequent patronal feast in honor of the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal, a tradition that every November 27 brings together neighbors, entire families, and especially the little ones who participate in pastoral life.

The day began with the procession through the streets of the neighborhood, led by the image of the Virgin, accompanied by hymns, prayers, and thanksgivings from the faithful. Among the attendees were students from the Miraculous Medal School, who, along with their families, walked the route with lit candles, symbolizing their path of hope in faith.

Participation of First Communion Children

The children who received their First Communion this year had a special role in the celebration. Dressed in their white attire, they walked alongside their families and catechists, carrying candles that represented their commitment to faith. The column of faithful walked through the streets singing and praising the Virgin, in an atmosphere of recollection and gratitude.

Solemn Mass and Popular Devotion

At the end of the route, the solemn mass was celebrated outside the parish church, which was completely filled with faithful. Hundreds of devotees of the Virgin, who year after year participate with great devotion in the novena and the patronal feast, also arrived at the site. The celebration once again demonstrated the strong religious identity of the neighborhood and the sense of belonging of those who keep this tradition alive.

The procession brought together entire families who thanked for favors and renewed their faith in the Virgin of the Miraculous Medal. Amid hymns and prayers, the community experienced a day of intense participation and spirituality, consolidating this festivity as one of the most beloved by the inhabitants of the Banking District.
